Membership in Orchestra Nashville Producer’s Circle is an investment in the unique and innovative work of Orchestra Nashville to commission, present, and record new music that celebrates greater Nashville’s eclectic music community.

ASSOCIATE PRODUCER, a commitment of $5,000
Privileges include:

  • Special recognition as Associate Producer in every Orchestra Nashville concert program during the 2006-2007 Season.
  • Recognition on the score & parts for ONE new work (your choice) written during the 2006- 2007 Season.  List to select from includes, but may not be limited to: 
    • ISTIQBAL GATHERING Commissioned by Orchestra Nashville and written by Carl Marsh and John Jorgenson. To be premiered on June 22, 2007, at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center. Featuring John on gypsy jazz-style guitar and Lawrence Kaptain on cimbalom. The cimbalom is member of the zither family of instruments, is the national instrument of Hungary and a traditional folk instrument of the Roma (gypsies).
    • TRISHULA – Commissioned by Orchestra Nashville and written by Orchestra NashvilleMusic Alive Composer-in-Residence David Balakrishnan. To be premiered on June 22, 2007, at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center. This piece combines Indian and gypsy musical styles.
    • ARGUING WITH GOD – CONCERTO FOR KLEZMER AND CHAMBER ORCHESTRA Commissioned by Orchestra Nashville and written by Michael Rose. To be premiered on March 24, 2007, at Schermerhorn Symphony Center. Written for klezmer band Brave Old World. Klezmer is secular Jewish folk music, comprised largely of dance songs for weddings and other celebrations. This work is presented as part of Orchestra Nashville’s Jewish-American Music Festival.
  • Special recognition on future CDs of new music written during the 2006-2007 Season

    • Recognition on the score & parts for TWO new works (your choice) written during the 2006-2007 Season.  
    • Press Release announcing Producer status (at Producer’s option)

     

    EXECUTIVE PRODUCER, a commitment of $25,000

    Above privileges plus…

    • Special recognition as Executive Producer in every Orchestra Nashville concert program during the 2006-2007 Season.
    • Recognition on the score & parts for THREE new works written during the 2006-2007 or 2007-2008 Seasons. 
    • Press Release announcing Executive Producer status (at Executive Producer’s option)

     

    FOUNDING PRODUCER, a commitment of $50,000

    Above privileges plus…

    • Special recognition as Founding Producer in every Orchestra Nashville concert program for life of Orchestra Nashville.
    • Recognition on the score & parts for ALL new works written during the 2006-2007 and 2007 –2008 Seasons.
    • Special recognition as Founding Producer on CD’s of new music written during the 2006-2007 and 2007-2008 Seasons.
    • Press Release announcing Founding Producer status (at Founding Producer’s option)
    • Two Season Tickets to Orchestra Nashville events each year
